This meeting of the prominent revolutionaries Maximilien de Robespierre (1758 - 1794), Louis Saint-Just (1767 - 1794) and Georges-Jacques Danton (1759 - 1794) may represent a debate during their collective membership of the Committee of Public Safety, the de facto government of France, during the early summer of 1793, the only period when Danton was also a member. Famously this trio who steered through some of the worst excesses of the French revoution met the fate of their victims, all being guillotined in 1794.
